Physical and Chemical Evaluation of Rice Bran with Various Level of Husk Addition

The aim of this research was to analyze the physical and chemical properties rice bran with husk addition. percentage addition 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 60%, 70%, 80%, 90% 100%. Husks were grounded mixed homogeneously. mixture analyzed for properties, proximate analysis van Soest analysis. variables in study included visualization bran, specific gravity (SG), bulk density (BD), moisture content (MC), ash, crude protein (CP), ether extract (EE), fiber (CF), acid detergent (ADF), cellulose lignin. Data presented descriptively correlation between each variable conducted. results showed that there differences level bran. husks increased ash (Δ = 11.89), CF 22.75), ADF 47.23), 24.04) lignin 7, 40). decrease SG, BD, MC, CP EE mixing Δ 0.62; 62.85; 3.64; 5.73 9.21 respectively. significant (p<0.01). affected qualities.
